Owner emotionally remembers first meeting with XL Bully as a pup
The footage starts with two people filming a very small Doug in the car. He licks the hand of the woman reaching out to him. You can just tell it is the start of a special bond. “My little darling doug,” his mom says in the caption. The pet dad even tickles his forehead while he sits pretty in mom’s arms.
It is difficult to watch the video of this XL Bully and not think about how lucky he is. One person in the comments said it makes them sick to think he could have been given to anyone, but he found the right home. The clip then jumps to an older Doug. He is leaning back in his mom’s arms, looking extremely comfortable. She gives his snout so many kisses. He has that classic broad head and stocky build now.
One fan called him a “handsome square chested bug,” and they aren’t wrong. He just lies there, knowing he is safe. The text on the screen says he became something they could never live without.
